Jade Hobbs is happily in her 7th year of marriage to Antwaun Hobbs, Sr. They share 3 kids Antwaun Hobbs Jr. (AJ), Alivia Hobbs, and Anthony Hobbs.
Jade attended the University of North Texas where she received a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies (2007) and Prairie View A&M University where she received a Masters in Education Administration (2009).
After graduating college, Jade entered the world of education and became a Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 teacher at Mcdonald Middle school for 7 years, and served as a math facilitator/6 grade math teacher at Austin Elementary for one year in Mesquite ISD. She is currently going into her 3rd year serving as an Assistant Principal at Spring Creek Elementary in Garland ISD.
Jade has served on several committees throughout the school district including curriculum writing, teaching district level staff developments, mentoring college, high school , and new teachers, and creating and implementing new programs for the success of all students. She also served as a Step team coach for a winning step team for two years, and PTA president for the McDonald Middle school for two years.
In 2007, Jade was named first class teacher of the year, 2010 was selected for the Class of Leadership Academy, and in 2016 was selected for the Region 10 Assistant Principal Leadership Academy.
Jade grew up at the East Dallas Congregation and changed her membership, after marriage, to the Eastside Church of Christ in 2010. She currently serves a Chair of the TEA Committee (New Members Welcoming Committee), and works with her husband in the Youth ministry.
Jade is highly motivated to encourage and mentor others.
